Associated Counsel for the Accused (ACA) provides public defense services for King County and is the primary public defender for the City of Seattle. We have been providing effective assistance of counsel to people charged with crimes or who are faced with incarceration for other reasons since 1973.ACA provides legal services in traditional criminal courts and other areas such as drug court, dependency, contempt of court, juvenile court, mental health court and Becca matters. ACA’s mission is to provide the highest quality legal representation to its clients. We provide these services in a manner that recognizes and preserves our client’s self respect and independence.
